Palangka Raya (Humas) The distribution of student report cards for MAN Palangka Raya (Mankoraya) was held on Friday (18/12/2020), at 13.00 WIB via WhatsApp (wa)

Until today, Friday, 18 December 2020 at 10:00 a.m., several homeroom teachers are currently completing their class reports in the teacher's room.

"It's been two nights I stay up late working overtime filling out student reports," said Rahmah. Alhamdulillah, today my student report cards are finished and ready to be distributed this afternoon, she said relievedly.

Since Wednesday, December 16, 2020, the teachers of Mankoraya have started filling in student reports, either as subjectmatter teachers or homeroom teachers. It's just that filling out report cards for subjectmatter teachers is not much to be filled in compared to the those who are homeroom ones. Meanwhile, the homeroom teachers have a lot to fill in, such as students’ bio data, attendances, predicates and others.

However, when filling in the report cards at home, some teachers experienced some problems, such as the incompatibility of the blank names of students given with the list of names / grades on the teacher meaning there is a mismatch between name’s list given by the subjectmatter teachers and the list kept by the homeroom teachers, and writing excel formulas have to be adjusted.

So that some teachers preferred to fill out their report cards at the Madrasah. "I miss an atmosphere like this", said Lilies Alice. While filling out the report card, if there are technical problems I can ask a friend, she said continously.

"Plus there are friends who bring food, so the atmosphere becomes serene, sharing and chatting,"  Lilis Alice added.

Even small discussions came from the teachers regarding the development of students’ learning achievement. As it was stated by Nurlina Sugiri, there was a change in the attitude of the particular student named Ataya, said Nurlina. Work on assignments that used to be neglegted, for now the task had been completed properly.

Another case with Euis Ratna Nurillah, when she asked Intan Purwanti, “has your task been done? it was conveyed in e-learning site, answered Intan, no," said Euis. Teachers never delivered assignments in e-learning, but through google classroom. Instantly the teachers laughed at Euis's story.

Mankoraya student reports for the 2020/2021 school year would be distributed on Friday, 18 December 2020, at 13.00 WIB in pdf (soft file) via WhatsApp. This was done because of the Covid 19 pandemic outbreak which has increased later this year.

This was confirmed by the principal of Mankoraya H. Ahd Fauzi. Yes, this year we would not share student reports directly, in order to avoid the crowd. But we would still share them according to the educational calendar in pdf form through parents and class groups.

‘So that with the distribution of report cards like this, we will be able to reduce the rate of movement of the Covid 19  in Palangka Raya City, concluded H. Ahd Fauzi. (Asdi)
